There's an old-fashioned way of curing mouth ulcers-that is, to gurgle with warm water and salt mix together. This will be a little painful (it's tolerable, though) but it will heal sooner and you can enjoy munching on your food again without the burning feeling of sores in your mouth. Try it. But if you think you can't withstand the pain, I think there are medicines in the pharmacy that can help reduce the swelling. Just ask the pharmacist or your dentist what that is. Goodluck!

It may hurt at first, but swish salt water before you go to bed at night and when you get up in the morning. I used to have braces. Many years ago, metal braces caused me severe multiple mouth ulcers. It worked for me.

the ulcers are usually caused by an increase in stomach acid....caused by stress or something you ate.....neutralize the acid in your stomach with tums or mylanta.......and rinse you mouth with 1cap of peroxide in 1/2 cup of warm water.....just rinse and spit it out....do this about twice a day.......you can use ambesol or something like that to numb the pain of the ulcer. Try not to eat anything with salt or acidic foods like ketchup and oranges...it will make it hurt worse....Good Luck

Put finely powdered POTASH ALUM on your mouth sore. It may hurt a bit initially and you may not like the taste. Do this several times a day to speed up the healing. TRY IT.

I had problems years ago when I went through a severely stressful time- so I have sympathy for you! The Doctor had me drink penicillin and swish it around- obviously it was a particular type. You are also very acidic if you have them so to counteract that you can eat yogurt to neutralize the acidity in your mouth- plus it nice and creamy so its easy on you when your eating it---
