They are thankful God fullfilled the Biblical prophecy of bringing them back to their land,after 2000 years.I'm thankful I back their play because God says to Israel,"Whoever blesses you ,I will bless,and whoever curses you,I will curse".

I don't know why the Israelis eat more turkeys than many other people; however, the turkey is not Israel's national bird so being thankful has nothing to do with it.

yeah when I was a student in Israel the only meat we got on a regular basis was Chicken and Turkey. Turkey is like Beef or Pork in America. While Beef is like eating steak (something expensive and not done often)

Just because they eat turkey doesn't mean they have anything to be thankful for. I thought they ate lamb anyway!

Let me see...Israel is smaller than New Jersey, has absolutely no natural resources, and numbers only 5 million people. It is surrounded by 280 million land-rich, oil-rich, and bloodthirsty Arabs who want it erased from the earth.
What exactly can Israelis be thankful FOR??????????

they don't even celebrate thanksgiving. they just have a lot of turkeys that's why they consume a lot of it.

well i think every one is thankfull for every thin that just mean they love chiken and they have a lot of it and they are thankful for what they have! GOD gives us what he can! :>

eating turkey does not equal being thankful... No one celebrates thanks giving but Americans...I'm guessing they just enjoy eating turkey gobble gobble....
