It's ok depending on how old you are, otherwise it could be frowned upon. During the teen years a short time like 3 years can mean a huge difference in maturity.

It's okay as long as you're not a minor and he's an adult. That could get him into trouble if you guys date. Otherwise, yes it's okay! I'm 21 and date a 27 year old! We've been together 4 years.

Yes it is. Age doesn't have to be a big deal in a relationship. I once dated a someone who was 11 years younger than me.

yes!!!!!! age is not important it is who a person is!!!! i had a guy that was 20 years older and my current husband is 15 years younger it all depends on the person

You didn't state your age, but three years isn't a big gap.
However, if you are under eighteen and he's an adult, it would be best to wait till you are of age and an adult too. Other than that, it's no problem.

I believe love has no age limit ...unless your grandfather looks like kid rock beside your new bf. seriouly, i dont see any reason why you should'nt ,love is very sneaky and will come when you least expect it in any way shape or form.
