how would you handle a boyfriend that is totally overworked? he has to be there early and works pretty late at night. how do you handle fitting in time with him without taking away from his job?

Good Question. It's one that I have has to struggle with for a few years now. Just add a kid to the picture too, that's rough.

Well, you should always remain supportive and try not to be negative or seem like you are putting down his dedication to his job. Make him love the time that you two do spend together and maybe he'll find more time to enjoy you. The most important thing to do is to be patient and understanding.

Its best not to complain all the time and flirt with other guys that cut him up and hit on you - make sure to tell him about what they say too so it gets him really pissed off. If you do all this, make sure to can rationalize it all away.

my man works really odd hours too... but he wants to be with me.. so we find time to do what we need and want too.. its just a matter of scheduling and making time for eachother..
