how do i report illegal immigration?

say at work i want to save america and report illegals.what numbers do i call and what questions and information must i have in order to do a real good report.can anyone tell me what i will be asked? maybe explain in a play by play,thank you.

The immigration law that requires that aliens be documented for legal entry. Those who sneak intto the country are referred to as "entry without inspection" (EWI). Others enter with legal documentation and then violate the terms on which they have been admitted by taking jobs that are not authorized or overstaying the authorized period of stay in the country. Both types of illegal immigrants are deportable under Immigration and Nationality Act Section 237 (a)(1)(B) which says:


"Any alien who is present in the United States in violation of this Act or any other law of the United States is deportable."

I guess look up immigration. Chances are unless there are a bunch of illegals that won't do anything. I think Bush is pushing for making current Illegals citizens, so I would hurry before mid January before the Liberals and Bush get together and change the law.

The real villain and problem with illegal immigration is the employer. No job, no illegals. Today, our experience is that no one is there when you call. All we ever got was an answering machine and no return call. It seems the budget has been slashed and there are few left to do the enforcing. You can try. If you do, you either have to have the name of the employer, or the illegal, the location where they work or live, etc. I don't know whether it is confidential or not. The agency is the INS, Immigration and Naturalization Service. good luck
