For the most part, Democrats are for amnesty and enforcing our current laws. There are some Republicans who feel this way, but not as many (Bush is the biggest), they mostly want strict penalties for those who hire illegals and want illegals to return home and get in line.

It's too late! We don't vote someone out because amnesty is illegal, we vote them out because it is wrong to give all of these illegals amnesty. This election was very important, and since Republicans didn't get out and vote we don't have much of a say about the subject, this is the one issue that President Bush is in agreement with the left.

The New Speaker of the House loves them. She is from San Francisco and as liberal as they get. See how she voted.
•Voted NO on Border Protection Act (2005)
•Voted NO on REAL ID bill to prevent illegals form obtaining driver’s licenses (2005)
•Voted NO on Secure Fence Act (2006)
•Voted NO denying funding to Sanctuary cities that harbor illegal aliens against U.S. law (2005)
•Voted NO on authorizing state and local authorities to participate in border security (2005)
•Voted NO on military assistance on the border
With Nancy Pelosi the Speaker and the likes of
Charles Rangel sitting in the Judiciary Committee Chairman's
seat -- the key seat for immigration reform -- ultra-liberal
"San Francisco values" will certainly be at the forefront
of the Dem’s immigration agenda. Remember -- San Francisco
is a "city of refuge" and bars city employees from
cooperating with federal agencies on immigration enforcement
Do you think she cares what the people think or want? Not on your life. She is a platinum member of the liberal elite and could care less what you want.

Illegal immigration is a problem. And it will continue to be a growing problem until the borders are secure. After the borders are secure and the flow of illegals into the country slows, then we can decide what to do next. There is estimated to be around 12 million illegal immigrants so I do not think that deportation is a viable solution. We would benefit more from documenting, fining and taxing illegal immigrants, than things remaining as they currently are.

Voters or politicians?
Elite (politicians) are for amnesty but Democrats are for employer enforcement thereafter.
Voters across all parties and unaffiliated voters are against illegal immigration. Give them that clear question to vote on and they will show you every time, Colorado and Arizona being recent examples, on Tuesday. Yet they brought in Democrat politicians. So you tell me.

All of you anti Hispanic racists were rambling on about voting in order to change the way things were running. Isn't it funny how the very party that is likely to support illegals is now the majority. I guess you racists were too busy hating to head to the polls.
