massage and ice the bruised area. that helps the blood circulation, which will help the bruise heal. i get enough bruises from the dojo and massage and ice packs are my best friend.

You might consider theraputic magnets, like Nikken magnets.. They are said to increase the amount of blood and oxygen to the area to help with healing. You also might want to consider taking some vitamins to help with the bruising and or eat some bananna's. Bruising is not known to cause blood clots. But you never know it just depends on each one's body.. The magnets are wonderful you just hold them on the bruised area and it begins almost immediately... Good Luck...

They probably won't cause clots. Ice and cold compresses are good for lessening bruising.

If this happens a lot, you might want to find out why you're falling so much and get it fixed.

Good luck!

well they should be alright if the look appropriate for the fall you took but if you feel they are too large or you take blood thinners or alcohol you might want to get checked.
