I got this rash about 6 months ago and it is spreading but not very quickly. I was a virgin when I got this rash...it is really weird because I did not have any sexual contact at all at that point. The rash started looking like a Ringworm and has expanded. It itches a little here and there but there isn't any pain. What are some things I can try so I can rid myself of this annoying rash? I have tryed Cortaid and it lessened it but it did not go away...keep trying Cortaid? I know it's not an STD. What can I do? Any help???

It sounds like it could be yeast-related. There are many treatments for it. I would highly recommend going to a holistic doctor. Allopathic physicians will give you steroid creams that damage the skin and can cause other adverse reactions. A holistic doctor will help you to balance any imbalances in your system that are causing your skin to act out in this way and help you to heal yourself naturally.

Dear Rash in Groin,
Yes you should naturally treat it! Go to your doctor and have it checked out. It could be anything, such as a fungal fungal infection, bacterial infection or viral infection. Rashes in the groin are not normal and require medical care. Do not be shy go see your doctor ASAP!!!

I found some natural remedies for body rashes online:
Olive oil, Aloe Vera gel, cod liver oil Vitamin E oil, and baking powder are all said to help rashes.

Good luck, and be careful! You may want to see a doctor soon if these remedies don't help.

My son had the same thing. The doc said it was to be cured with baking soda baths every night for a couple of weeks and Lotrimin on the area after the bath. Then rub Desitin over the area to prevent any moisture from getting to it. My son's area was so bad it was bleeding, but it did get well in a few weeks. Good luck.

hello. i have a similar question. For about two weeks now I have been bleeding from rectum even when not going to bathroom,. I am a male, and there is this funky kinda odor coming from the space between my rectum and my testicles. I shower and it helps a little but it doesnt ever go away... I also developed two giant hemorrhoids with the bleeding which makes it horrible to try to evacuate my stool. and in between going to the bathroom, I know i bleed because its almost like i would imagine it would be like if i were having a priod with the old blood. Also i have pain in that spot too. and when i feel it it feels like its swollen inside as well.. PLEASE Help!!!

try A+D ointment if it is ringworm that will get rid of it. I had a similar reaction to what I think was a pet allergy and it turned out to NOT be ringworm. I went to dr. and they ran TONS of tests. even for hep c. it turned out they just gave me some really really good allergy medicine(my insurance didn't like it) and after about a week it finally went away. if your young and dont want your mom to think you are sleeping around just tell her its an allergic reaction. and IF you started having sex since you got this, the heat and friction and moisture sould just be making it more irritated. try not to have sex if it is EVER uncomftorable. thats just a good general rule any how. good luck.

Is it your crotch? If so, it might just a common crotch rash. Look up "crotch rash" on the computer and you can see pictures of what it is.

If it is that, an anti-fungus cream will do the trick, same stuff that treats athlete's foot.

It could be the detergent you are using to was your clothing. It might be leaving a residual in your underwear. You should rinse twice and do not use fabric softener.

To be safe you should go to your doctor to make certain that it is not an indication of anything serious.

I would naturally go to the doctor and get this looked at - especially if it has been around for 6 months. You need the right treatment for this to go away.
