The worst is over. Maybe you'll have trouble going to sleep, but for the most part, a stray craving or two is all you have to worry about.

Alot of respect. I quit after six years of daily use and my friends from highschool were impressed. Dont expect too much in "withdrawl" I didnt have any but everyone's different. Good job with quitting. Its hard after the habit sets in... expect to be senstive to the smell i cant be in the room with it anymore. And i developed a minor studder. Things like that can and will happen your messing with you brain neurons when you mess with marijuana. It'll be weird. But you'll get used to it. And my bonus every dime i would have put into weed i bought a new car with. I've been sober for almost 3 yrs

I have. Not with pot but with booze. You have to find an outlet. Something constructive that replaces pot smoking or chances are good you will go back to it. You will need a support system too. One person at least who you can call when you get the urge to use again. And you will. Expect that your cravings will continue for a long time but the good news is they lesson after awhile and you will find you are not as preoccupied with it. I personify my addiction. He's with me wherever I go. I can't get rid of him. Even when I'm not thinking about him he's still there. What does he do? He waits. He waits for that one day where I'm too angry, tired or depressed to give a damn anymore. When you are weak and your will to obstain is low -that's when he strikes. He waits for that one one slip up that puts me back where I was. That's all it takes is once. Give in once and you'll give in a thousand times. Trust me. I know. Congrats on the 25 days. Don't try to do it all yourself. And, yes, you knew it was coming, take it one day at a time.

Marijuana does not give you withdrawal symptoms. The best thing you can do is find a hobby or new friends to avoid getting into situations that make you want to use it.
