Since you suffer from severe allergies, you better be careful on your drink. You may have a reaction to beer, wine and whiskey, etc. I would try a drink at home with a person present in case you have a reaction. You don't want to be in a crowded, noisy club and go into shock! Try some Kaluha and cream on the rocks or a chocolate martini made with vodka. You won't be able to read every label so come prepared with an option that you have tried at home. And don't get so tipsy that you start ordering anything and everything. And tell your friends about your allergy. Some bars have peanuts at the bar so look where you are sitting. I can verify that allergies can cause a lot of trouble so be careful while you are out having fun. You don't even have to drink to have a great time! Good luck!

Don't go out to drink. That is a bad way to begin an evening that is supposed to be fun, because it is founded on the idea that drinking is fun. Ask yourself, did you not ever have fun before you started drinking? If you have severe food allergies, it may be safer to avoid any attempts at public intoxication, as friends who have been drinking are less likely to protect you from yourself in the situation that your judgement becomes impaired. Having a crappy tolerance for alcohol is nothing to be ashamed of. Only morons base their self image on how much they can drink. If you want to drink when you go out, stay with familiar spirits. Most vodkas, bourbons, and whiskies are probably safe for you to drink. I would avoid fancy liquers, like frangelico and other more colorful brands. Many do have nuts in their distilling mash. You may even want to do a little research online into specific liquor types to make sure which are safe. I would caution again, however, be careful how much you drink so you don't leave yourself in a vulnerable (or even dangerous) situation. Once you've been drinking for a while, your "friends" may give you something to drink (a shot or mixed drink, especially) that you shouldn't have. You really can't be too careful. I would plan to go out with plans for some specific activities, and let drinking be secondary to those. Have a glass of wine at dinner (again, do your research) or something, but don't go out to drink. That's never a good plan, and no good can come from it.

Bleach, don't drink bleach. Oh, and drano's not too good either. There are some liquers made from nuts...if you have that bad of an allergy then I would MAKE SURE that your're companions all know not to get you anything with certain liquers in them. The bartender should know and if any doubt....smile and respectfully decline or demand a new drink dang it! Its your B-day!!!

Well if you are worrying from what drink to stay away from, why not that you think about what drinks that is healthy to you? If your friend is scaring you, then i think that your friend should tell you the drinks that you should avoid from. If you are sick from your birthday, he will not have a happy celebration with you too. My suggestion is that since you want a healthy body towards your upcoming birthday, you should drink boiled water. Boiled water not also kills the bacteria within the water and it is good for your body without any harmful effects. Oh yes you should watch out for selection of drinks. The drinks that are kept away from the other sections of the drinks in the supermarket tends to have alcohol containing in it. Therefore drink boiled water or fruit juice for vitamins C to keep a healthy diet before your birthday. Oh yes, and a Happy Birthday to you. =)

Please don't fill pressured to drink alcohol unless it is your genuine desire to indulge. Water is a drink. Cola is a drink. If you have concerns about ingredients, just stick to something simple like a glass of wine or a vodka and orange juice. When you get into flavored liqueurs, you risk inviting allergens. For example, Frangellica is made from hazelnuts, Amaretto from almonds, etc. Just have fun and be safe. And happy birthday!

be careful and don't take just anything that they give to you. i'm sure your friends dont know which liqors have nuts in them and they might give you something unintentionally. i don't know what many liquors are made of, either. until you know for sure, just stick to the basics:
vodka, rum, beer, wine <-- i know those are not usually made with any nuts :)
also, i always find that i'm better off the next day if i stick to one type of alcohol the whole night. if you are going to drink a cosmo, stick to vodka. if you are going to have a beer... stick to beers. etc.
have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

whatever you drink, stick with ONE KIND of drink ALL NIGHT LONG. the more clear the alcohol, the less toxins your body will make in the morning (a.k.a. hangover)
