Not necessarily anxiety attacks - but prolonged everyday anxiety.

Once I get a thought in my head I cannot get rid of it. I will beat myself to death with it.

I get a little dizzy and I feel like my mind is slipping and then I start feeling like I am going crazy and I get claustrophobic. My palms get moist and I feel like everyone knows what is going on with me even though they all don't. Yes I get scared because I am a flight attendant and I have been flying for over 12 years. This started happening to me after sep 11th. I have to keep my job and that scares me even though I feel trapped.
I also feel at times like I want to run away from the problem and I don't like it when someone gets too close to me or have to be there every day.
Also loosing my mother to breast cancer when I was 14 has made me not want to love fully in fear that I would loose that person and that I would be hurt once again. It takes me a long time to get over things.

I mainly feel my sytmptoms (nasuea, upset stomach, dizziness, frequent bowel movements, sweaty, basically like i'm going to die!) when I have a hangover. It happens when I'm in large crowds. It has gone away ever since I met my boyfriend (2 yrs) but, every now and then it comes back. I found breathing techniques work the best. Plus a sense of security (my boyfriend?). Hell yes it scares me! I hate anxiety! It is not fun.

My head starts feeling kind of fuzzy, my heartbeat gets really fast, my palms get sweaty, and I feel like I can't breath.

It scares the hell out of me...true anxiety is commonly mistaken as symptoms of a heart attack and vice versa.

You feel scared...
like you're dying...
like you're throat/chest is tightning up...
Confused...
Heart palpatations...
You cry alot from fear...
You dont want to be in the place that triggers anxiety...
The list goes on.

Anxiety scared me to death.... I prayed and found relief in God not medication. I was afraid to take the medication due to a chance of suicidal thoughts....So I never took any and got over it on my own, But with the help of God
