buy some vitamin c tablets with zinc in them, this will get rid of the ulcer quicker and stop them coming back. Taking these will also strengthen the bodies immunity which at this time of year will protect us from colds.

Take one of the over the counter drugs for excess acid like zantac. These are wonderful at controling the cause of your ulcer. Have you seen a doctor? Are you sure you have an ulcer? You may need surgery if you can't control it with medication.

U can get antibiotics from a doctor now to clear most ulcers, but until u talk to a doctor, anything that is bland is good. Rice, mashed potatoes, unsalted crackers. Anything that will not irritate the ulcer, fat of any sort is bad,and acids, and alchol.

In the early 1980's, Drs. Barry Marshall and Robin Warren of Australia discovered bacteria in the stomach lining of patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers. The flagellated corkscrew-shaped bacterium, Helicobacter pylori, apparently survives in the forbidding acid environment of the stomach and duodenum by hiding in the mucus and neutralizing stomach acid in its local environment. Long thought precipitated by stress and stomach acidity, ulcers are increasingly believed related more to the presence of Helicobacter infection. Instead of prescribing milk to reduce stomach acidity, antibiotics are used in the successful treatment of peptic ulcers.

you should avoid salty foods, spicy dishes such as curries, or acidic foods such as citrus fruit or vinegar. These can irritate the ulcer and may delay the natural healing process.

Hope it gets better soon, ulcers are bloody sore !!!

look at the fundamental cause of it. if you get ulcers, u have a stinky breath. if oyu have a stinky breath, you have digestion problems like acidity, constipation etc. if you have constipation you have stinky breath and if you have sticky breath you have ulcers. get rid of constipation and have loads of fruit juices diluted in water (so your making up the 8 glasses of water rule) and your having juice. best way to get rid of it all is get rid of acidity too so pineapple in tins or juice is great for stoomach. keep it routine to have atleast 2 to 4 glasses of juice each day diluted with 50:50 ratio. hope i helped. its true, believe m. i get it and that is my lifetime remedy and it wrks peeeeeeerfect. try it and tell me. make it a habit of lots of water and juice and fruits.

Think of good soothing foods, bland, not spicy or acidy. This would be a very big list. To help sooth and help digestion think of using a natural digestive aid, like papaya tablets. Check out this site about healthy nutrition and healthy supplements.
