A color that can hide the stains well would be good.

I immediately thought blue but that would be too patriotic (unless that's what you're going for). I think maybe a darker or lighter red than the walls. Not pink though...that'll clash. Or you could get a dark brown (with a pattern) to go with the oak. No black because that wouldn't look good with oak.

I think I would look for a comforter that has a little red in it, but lots of other colors too, like gold to warm it up. Also gold would look well with the oak.

I would use a ecru,or white eyelet, with maching shams an dust ruffle, accent with red throw pillows,do you have carpet,or wood floors, because you could bring out the color,of carpet in pillows, red is a hard color to match, but a print would also look nice.Too many dark colors like brown,or black make a room appear smaller,to me a bedroom expresses oneself.

I'd go with seasonal colors if I were you. The options are very open right now. Its fall so have fun picking out fall colors. I bet it'll be so beautiful with the reds too. I' m dont know your budget but Kohls has super sales on their bed-in-a-bag and comforter sets. Value City also has good sales but you have to search through their stuff to find the good stuff. Good luck and have fun.

What color oak? golden, dark, natural? I would go with cream, gold or forest green. My bed room is a golden almond with 2 walls wall papered and looks like red leather... I have the cream, gold and light green in my room. Its almost asian but not quite.. I have some black accent pieces.

while you're into Asian, then a black comforter might look super. you ought to even get one with some gold in it. otherwise, i think of i might get one that had plenty and a variety of of different diverse colorations in it. i might make confident there have been a number of the off white in it- to compliment the closet and trim. Reds are very puzzling to verify so merely try to discover something that has a sprint pink in it- if it would not journey precisely on your partitions, no vast deal. you ought to get multi colored floral, a stripe or possibly a paisley print??

I would go with a light brown, almost a fawn color or else a cream color. About 2 shades lighter than your oak.

I'd definately go with white or cream - im an artist and know what im talkin about - red white and brown go nicely in a room and the white/cream will open it up a bit.

The color Tan would go beautifullly with that. The combinations of red and tan sometimes with white and black is really deisgner looking.
