What is the vegetable that looks like hair....
It's white and stringy. It sometimes has a little green leaf at the end.

It's not very tasty. I see it alot when I order Thai food, Vietnamese Food and sometimes salads.

What Vietnamese food are you talking about?
If it is "pho" (beef noodles) , then it is most likely bean sprouts.
You could have asked the name of the vegetable when you were enjoying your food.
