Yes, very. Get some help ASAP. Being underweight is actually much worse for you than being overweight. Your body turns to your body tissues for fuel...like your heart, liver, kidneys, etc. You are doing damage to your vital organs.

Know if you need to lose weight

Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.

You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.

BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese

Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

It depends how old you are. If you are over 14, then yes this is underweight. However, you may have a smaller frame and higher metabolism. It is best to check with your doctor and have your body fat percentage measured. As long as it is not below 12%-15%, then you are probably fine. HTH : )

I really dont think so. I am 100 pds and 5'3
maybe if you put on a couple pds, but as long as your eating healthy and not starving yourself you should be ok.

By the way I eat like a horse and I don't gain no weight, but the petite figure runs in my family.

Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Not everyone can gain weight. If its in your genes, its in your genes.
