I am looking at paying my car tax on line, and currently my addresses match, but soon they wont, is this legal or will I have to match them both?/..Please help...don't want to break the law!!!

yes they both have to match. when you move you have to notify the insurance company and the registration. not a problem you usually have a certain amount of days to notify both

The best thing you can do is call your state Division of Motor Vehicles. They can answer ANY question you might have regarding that. If they CANT answer it, Move to Canada!!! LoL

my registration on my car is listed to my ex's address. my insurance goes to my physical address. it depends on the state.

if you own a business then no, if you use it for personal use,(which is probably your situation), then yes, but i do not think they are not that adiment about it , but your drivers lic needs to match your residence, that is more importanttoo.
