No, if your bestfriend didn't act on it, it's too bad. It's comprable to when one goes shopping; if someone gets the last pair of bright red trousers before you, then there's nothing you can do about it. First come, first served.
It's just a crush, and it's none of your business anyways.

hell yeah tell her off...if she knew how her friend felt about the crush she should of backed off or at least talk to her to see how she would feel if she went out with the crush.
