who in the hell likes matrosexual men? my missus is chewing my ear off about moisturisers and grooming products. she even wants me to get a manicure! why dont women these days like men like me, with stubble, rough hands, rugged looks, manly mans aftershaves, etc. why would anyone want to compete with a man that takes longer to get ready than their woman?

not me!! I like the way things were, you open door for me, I look good and am nice to you, I am the weaker sex, you are the stronger, you work and bring home the bacon and me, I fry it for you!! I have a home my man wants to come home to and a woman waiting. Stay as you are, the rough chin in the mornings or late at night....the scent of man....

I do not like metrosexual men. I don't like guys to be very feminine, I'd like to be the girl in the relationship, not them. My definition is: fashion forward, skinny, kinda artsy looking, the "nerdy yet cool" look lately..oh how those glasses bug me. You know how a ton of people are wearing those big "nerd" glasses cause they're more in now..? Yeah, I'm not a fan. Cristiano Ronaldo wears make up =/, huge turn off. Plucked eyebrows? No gracias, only if it's a unibrow. I find David Beckham attractive though. Oh, and I'm 15..

ewwww...i hate metrosexual men...i like a guy who takes care of himself but not to the extent of manicures and going for facials n all that!! spare the grooming for the ladies!! wouldnt want him to compete with me....unless ofcourse u have skin problems like acne or something then yea, that would need a skincare regimen!! but if ur free of all that then plain ol' soap and water, along with some cologne/aftershave and clean, smart looking attire is enough! just make sure there's no bad b.o or bad breath or open belching and farting! no matter how manly, i say a man ain't a man if he doesn't act like a gentleman.

I don't know what a metro sexual man is really but from what you describe I think eeeeew. I like my men working, dirty nails, rough hands, needs a shave and wearing some scent that is made for the real men.
The shower can get rid of the work smell, fingernail file will clean his nails, I don't want to be rubbed up by someone who's hands are softer than mine, just give me a MAN not someone who's in the mirror and bathroom trying to be pretty, if I wanted pretty I would date a woman. ta da.

Couldn't agree with you more mate. They look pathetic. Bring back the good old fashioned roughed up man lol. This decade will never be remembered for fashion maybe the designers are just running out of ideas!

Well if that is what she wants give it too her!!! And then let her know you expect her to shave all her inimate areas daily and be a size 6 her whole life!!! All joking aside, you shouldnt change who you are for anyone as far as this goes, but you should do the best you can to improve and maintain your image. Just dont go overboard and be fake about it.

of course I want my man to be a "manly man" as you call it, but there is nothing wrong with personal hygiene like getting a manicure and washing your face and stuff. and unless you're matthew mcconaughey you can't pull off wearing no deodarant and stuff lol

I do . A nice fine man in a nice 1000$ suit... Nice hair ... nice soft skin... Smells nice. LOOKS NICE .. God who wouldn't like a hot man like that ... There is not a thing wrong with "stuff" to make you look good.
Its that fact that you care about your self and have pride in your appearance .. YOU CARE HOW YOU LOOK... Duh .. This probably makes your wife happy... I know..... god why make her happy. But it wouldnt take you longer than your wife to get ready. Because you dont do and use all the grooming stuff everyday... only the hair... wise up she is trying to tell you something. Listen.. your rewards may be great........ get it .

Mmmm give me a manly man anyday. How dare any man try to be more of a peacock than me. I am the beauty and will never even dare date anyone who attempts to be prettier than me.
