I had a loan for 2 years and at the end I was told that it would not go on my credit even though I was in good standing. I need all the help I can get and I would like to add this to my credit. I was told that I could get it added, but I dont know how. Anybody got any sites or links that I could go to add this on there?

You can go to the loan office and ask them to please report it to the credit dept. and also ask to receive a print out of your payment history so that you will have proof in black and white that it was in good standing, you might also want to contact the credit agency to contact the loan office requesting the info to update your credit files

It depends on who the loan was with. Some companies that loan money, are not actually finance companies and are not allowed to report to the credit bureaus. Places like buy here pay here car lots would be one example. Your best option will be to talk to the company that the loan was with to see if they can report it or not.
Good luck!!

it's too late. the time to make sure your lender reports is BEFORE you agree to the terms. forcing a lender to report won't help you because a manual entry on your credit reports isn't calculated into your FICO credit scores. best to learn from this. make a better choice next time. in the USA lenders are not required to report. it's a voluntary system.
