You think you know but you are probably brainwashed and you don't even know it. If it is main steam Christianity then there are a lot of things that aren't correct in the Scriptures which the Christian Essenes found the original Teachings of Christ. If it's Islam (I won't even go there) and if its Judaism. They sacrifice animals to God which He plainly says is abominable. So whats left there are a lot of other ones I choose Krishna Consciousness Which is a universal understanding of God We accept the truths of all religions and toss the rest because that's mans idea. Go to http://www.stephen-knapp.com for universal truths. Krishna says in the Gita "Whenever there is a decline in religious principals and the truth appears to be lost I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth.

Right for what?
All religions are made up by men, to suit their superstitions, give them hope, ameliorate their fears, or control a populace. Just like underwear, there isn't one that's "right" for everyone.

Since there's no evidence of any kind that there is a god, an afterlife, a heaven, a hell, or that any of the mythological stories in any of the religions are true, the only logical conclusion one can reach is that based on the evidence, none of them are "true." However, if one gives you comfort, makes you a better person, and gives you a reason to be nice to others, then it may be "right" for you, even if it's not "true." That's up to you.

1 On what are its teachings based? Are they from God, or are they largely from men? 2 Tim. 3:16; Mark 7:7 Where does the Bible teach that God is a Trinity? Where does it say that the human soul is immortal.
2 Consider whether it is making known the name of God. Jesus said in prayer to God: I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. John 17:6 He declared: It is Jehovah your God you must worshop, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service. Matt. 4:10: Has your religion taught you that it is Jehovah you must worsip? Have you come to know the Person identified by that name his purposes, his activities, his qualities so that you feel you can confidently draw close to him?
3 Is true faith in Jesus Christ being demonstratred?
4 Is it largely ritualistic, a formality, or is it a way of life? God strongly disapproves of religion that is merely a formalism. Isa. 1:15-17. True religion upholds the Bible's standard of morality and clean speech instead of weakly going along with popular trends. 1 Cor.5:9-13; Eph. 5:3-5. Its members reflect the fruits of God's spirit in their lives. Gal. 5:22,23
5 Do its members truly love on another? Jesus said By this all will know that you are my disiciples, if you have love among youselves. John 13:35
6 Is it truly separate from the world? Jesus said that his true followers would be no part of the world. John 15:19:James 1:27. Can that be said of those whose clergy and other members are involved in politics, or whose lives are largely built around materialistic and fleshly desires? 1 John 2:15-17.
7 Are its members, active witrneses concerning God's Kingdom? Jesus foretold: This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. Matt. 24:14. What religion is really proclaiming God's Kingdom as the hope of manking instead of encouraging people to look to human relership to solve their problems? Has your religion equipped you to share in this activitry, and to do it from house to house as Jesus taught his apostles to do? Matt. 10:7, 11-13; Acts 5:42; 20:20.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, 9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

All religion is man made. Everything man has ever done even when trying to create something great has always had flaws, in other words been imperfect. In the case of religion this is VERY true. Even to the point of it being evil. So there is no TRUE religion. There is Christ Jesus and since he is God holding faith in Him will never disappoint. Faith however does not equal Religion... Jim

No one can decide the right religion but yourself. If you've found the right religion for you, that's great, but please refrain from calling others who may not share your views "uneducated" and "brainwashed." Atheism is just as valid as any other belief system, or lack of it.

religion is no good and doesn't matter. It's all about a realtionship with a very really being: Jesus. Christianity, though I know it has been given a bad name by fake christians who are idiots. but it is right. If you want to know all you need to about Christianity read "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. He spells out the whole thing perfectly. peace out.
