I'm 19 years old and I have never had a girl friend.
I'm by no means a pig! I have a clean face, wash every day, basically keep myself in very good health. I have shortish hair, its the usuall messy yet styled look most guys have. I keep stubble.
I keep myself in very good condition by playing many sports, this keeps my body relatively toned, I have slight curves. I dress smartly, no trackies or hoodies. Its Jeans, shirts etc. I keep things colour co-ordinated. Aporaching girls, I'm confident in myself and can make/start conversations easily. I get looks from girls and I smile back, let girls through doord first etc. I also have many strong 'friend' relationships with girls but have yet to actually date one! Girls tend to be shy around me, which makes it worse for me as I also have my shy side. I've seen/talked with many girls in many places but I get rejected or 'just friend'. Have I just been unlucky? My height an issue? I'm 5ft 6. What do you girls think?
Thanks in advance.

You just need a bit more confidence in yourself. A good way to make a girl feel at ease with you is to make them laugh. There's an old expression that goes, "laughing them into bed,2 and believe me it works. Just keep trying your luck.

I think it might be fear; lurking in the background. The "what if...." or "will I won't I"
Actually coming out, and asking a girl on a date would be the first step.
I don't think it could be an issue; the height thing; no one I know thinks negatively about tall guys! In fact, quite the reverse! So, get a grip, and take the plunge; I think you'll "like the water" just fine!
Good luck Mr. "It's now or never"! lol

that is volatile having sex with a inebriated female no matter if you're inebriated too. by regulation, a lady who receives in the back of the wheel inebriated and runs over pedestrians on the sidewalk can face homicide expenditures yet yet this similar women people can't consent to sex. It doesn't make experience in any respect.

You think you've got problems. I am 4 years older than you and life was not exactly gentle to me I am only 4ft 3 inches and considered a dwarf, I am amusing and popular but my height has always made me feel a very insecure. People can be cruel and have always taken easy jibes at me especially females, girls seem to have a thing with dwarfs and in my personal experience they shamelessly chase me and use me for their sexual games, I am of normal to large size in my pants, but because of my overall height it looks much bigger, so they laugh and use me with their friends but never chose to see me as a boyfriend or introduce me to their families. Yes I get plenty of action but it is all secret, all behind closed doors. I feel very lonely and yet many guys think I have it all.

Sounds to me like you are a pretty good catch and that girls may be intimidated of you because they may not think that they are worthy of you. It also could be a strong possibility that other girls think that your really good girl friends are more than friends. It's great that you are confident and you can talk to girls and treat them with respect. Try asking a girl on a date, I'm sure you'll get a positive response.

truly hun I really don't think there is anything wrong with you, unless there is something you have not mentioned here that turns girls off. I'm only 5'3", but even if I were taller than you height wouldn't matter. I actually prefer guys that aren't waaaay taller than me :) I'm 17 and never had a boyfriend, so don't worry about that for your age either.
Hope you have a good weekend, email me if you like :)

No, your height won't be an issue. For petite girls, that'll be a plus.
You sound nice - you just need to have the courage of your convictions and ask them out. Don't fall into the "friends" trap - that can be very difficult to get out of if, actually, you want something more.

Stop looking for a relationship and one will find you. You just need to relax and everything will fall into place, including a girl.
Just you wait and see.

I would say that it sounds like you are trying too hard. Most people, women and men, tend to subconciously go for the people that seem to be not interested in them. And be funny! Humor is important with most women!
