He met his wife there? That's never stated, might've had her before killing Abel and wandered off with her.

People get confused about these questions because they are locked into seeing what they read only one way.
The scripture that mentions Cain's wife is Gen 4:17.
All it says is that he "knew" her (meaning had intercourse) and she conceived.
The bible never says where he met her. It indicates that he was already married when he left Edon. So, he was most likely married when he was cast out.
As far as where she came from, well it's obvious that it was Adam and Eve. So, it was his sister.
The bible never says that Adam and Eve had ONLY two children. It only mentioned 3 children because there were significant events that surrounded them.
Adam and Eve's first commandment they received was "be fruitful and multiply". They probably had dozens of children before the Cain and Abel story.
They were not limited by age since they were fully mature at 1 day old. Eve did not have pain in childbirth because that came after from the curse. And they were destined to live forever, so Eve would never reach menopause. They could have been having children for over 100 years before the Cain and Abel story.
The bible doesn't specifically say. Most likely because when it was written, people were intelligent enough to understand these things without it having been written. They didn't have the scoffer in mind when they were recording history because there weren't any scoffers that would question these things.
Plus they knew where the other children came from because they were there to see it. So, they didn't have a need to write every little detail that didn't matter.

There are a couple of explanations first maybe there was another creation, but the most common theory is that since Adam and Eve had more than 2 kids that Cain probably married a distant cousin or even a sister. (had to repopulate the earth somehow) and since they were the first people the gene pool was real wide so no deformaties would have developed due to incest relations.

First of all, it was Cain. Now, here's where it gets interesting. Take Genesis 1:26-27:
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
Then skip forward to Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Now, the question is, is Genesis 2 just a rehash of Genesis 1, or did God create two separate peoples?
Supposing God DID create two groups of people. Then that's where Cain's wife could have come from, isn't it?
Otherwise, it's entirely possible that Cain married his sister. It's said that Adam and Eve had something like twenty-seven children. So we don't know, really.
Hope this helps a little.

My friend who is a J W says this: Cain's wife , no doubt was a sister of his and Abel's ...incest as we know it today... was not present in the world , at that time , due to the fact that they were so close to perfection , and the purpose of relationship was to " be fruitful and multiply..and fill the earth.... " Genesis 1: 28.... their having children from this relationship would not cause the deformities that our now imperfect bodies would...

Kane was a character on the show "Kung Fu". He was never married. If you're talking about Cain, he married his sister more than likely since that was the only way to procreate back then. Adam and Eve had more children. remember Seth? Do you not think he had a sister just because she wasn't mentioned?

Great question. I think he must of got it on with Eve. It had to start with incest. Maybe Adam, and Eve had daughter's, I think I heard that some where, so, he may have relations with a sister. Either Eve, or a sister had to Mrs. Cain. ~~~~

as a muslim woman......i will try to tell u the muslim point of view on this one:
Eve kept on having children as a punishment from God. the weird thing about this is......she never gave birth to her children as women do now. she gave birth from her under arms. (again, i know this sounds weird) and she basically mothered the whole population of ppl.
now, Cain obviously must have had his pick of the females born from Eve to become his wife. and that is the muslim eye of it. and i must say that it is not complete. i basically just summorized. but for a better reference on this account, feel free to look it up in the almighty Quran.
~very interesting question though.
