Me and this kid have been talking for alittle now and we have been decent friends for a while but we just got back in touch, he lives kinda of far away so we cant hang out much, but lately we have been talking on the computer and phone and i just signed on and was on for like 30 minutes and he was to and he never said Hi. I know he likes me but i was just confused. Any ideas?

He was probably thinking the same, did you say hi to him? what you have to remember is that underneith the tough exterior boys are very shy in these situations. You'll probably have to be the one to make the first move.Try not to try to hard just be yourself, he liked you before as you were so try it again. Also boys don't like the thought of being rejected so to avoid being knocked back they step back or are even horrible to you. I'm afraid us women are the stronger sex so it's left up to us to brake the ice, so go for it email him, ask a question then he will have to answer or thats just rude, and if he still doesn't I'd find someone who is worthy of your friendship. You don't say how old you are?

He could be doing homework. Maybe he has friends over and they're looking @ something on the computer right now. The same thing's happened to me before, don't worry about it!

I wouldn't worry, he was maybe on a different site aswell as the Messenger. If you talk all the time then surely he'd be able to tell you if he had a problem. Don't worry about it. My advice is to give him a ring tomorrow and see how is with you then.

maybe just maybe some one like his brother or parent signed on ..on his account... and had to do some things and .. dont know you... or maybe he was actually using the computer and shut off the buddy list or something. never even seeing you... a million things ..... I put my money on a parent.... friend or sibling signing on his account ... you know the account is up ... and they were trying to do something. fast and it was up.... so they got online and it took longer than what they thought. dont take it personally ....

He may have been busy, maybe he didnt knw you was online. Why dont you just message him. Say hi and see if the conversation flows as normal

sometimes when you log out, it still shows you as signed on. and he may be away from his computer. yahoo DOES have the 'idle' icon thing, but it doesn't always work the way its supposed to
