You could have a penknife, pair of scissors, old alarm clock, tactical nuclear missile stuck down your trousers, and they would want to know?

You could force you way into the railway cab and force the driver to run a red light and crash into the suburban train from Surbiton.

You would have NO choice if the transport police wanted to check you to make sure you had no hidden weapons. If you refused to comply you would be arrested simple as that.

Yes of course i would walk through it.

1) I have nothing to hide

2) they could arrest you on suspicion of having prohibited items or if armed police were there - they could fire on you?

P.s) id structure your questions more carefully next time - " a nuclear weapon down your trousers......how small do you think these weapons are mate?"
