I would start with my own country. We are so busy helping other countries instead of our own.

For a while I was looking into adopting a child from Bulgaria because I have been there and really loved the culture and the people. My friend lives over there, so she was going to help me out. The children over there live in very poor conditions and its just horrible. It takes a little longer to adopt from that country but I think it would all be worth the wait.

I would adopt a girl from China because females are not prized there. I have a lot of Asian friends so hopefully I could give this girl some of her culture back. I would adopt a boy from Russia because the life expectancy is so low there for men. Maybe two brothers from Russia so they will be lifelong friends. I am not really picky as I love all children and want them to be happy and healthy! Best of luck to you!

The U.S. because everyone worries about other countries before our own. I was in foster care from the time I was 5 until I was 15 (i moved out on my own) so I know what its like wouldn't want other kids to go through it when they wouldn't have to if I was there to adopt them.

I'm in Ireland and I'd adopt from malaysia-I have family there so I'd be able to teach the child about the country they came from and take them back for visits.

I would try to adopt from the USA. I know it's easier to adopt from poor countries, but we have millions of children in our own country who need good homes.

The United States, where I live. I would adopt here because I am an U.S. citizen and there are children in the U.S. who need and want a permanent family.

The USA, because their are plenty of American kids that need homes and I think charity begins at home. Also, if I am in the situation (finacially) I would adopt a special needs child.

The US, my country, because it makes no sense that we have millions of our own suffering and few are doing anything about it but the society/government is so hell bent to fix everyone elses problems to ignore their own and make themselves look better...its crazy...plus i believe the kids here deserve a loving safe family just like any other kid any where...but it starts with home, if we are to truly be the example of a great country to the rest of the world.

I would say: USA
there are enough children being adopted by our citizens from other countries.

The United States, because I live there. We should try to help our own people instead of going outside of your own country. That goes for where ever you may be from.
