There is suppose have been a law passes that you can get a free credit free for each year. But, I've never seen one that doesn't takes you almost to your report and wants a credit card just in case you want to join, that to me is just a trick. The only way I've heard that if you get a turn down for credit. The law requires if you get turned down for credit send the turn down letter to the Bureau and they have to send a reason along with your full credit report. My friend did and they sent the whole report to her right away.

You can call each of the three credit bureaus and tell them that you were denied credit and would like a copy of your report. You are allowed one free report a year. So you can call each year to get a free report. Never mind about paying for them online.
In the report you will also have your credit score. It doesnt cost you to get this information.

The most joining you have to do is pick a login and password. It's the official site for yearly free credit reports.
I just used it for the first time this summer. I was even able to submit a discrepancy report on-line and I got one thing removed from my credit report!

www.annualcreditreport.com is the product of the law passed recently that gives consumers one report each year from transunion, experian, and equifax. This does not include your score though. If you want your credit score, it will cost you.

yes. but the three credit reporting agencies make it difficult. experian and transunion want you to spend time online so they can upsell you things you don't need like their fake credit scores. same if you contact them by telephone. the only way to accomplish your quest is by using the printed form and mailing it in. but they bury the form in their website. you can download the form here:
you can download the form here:
