I definately dont think all men are jerks and would never say that. And i wouldnt back any woman up who said it either, but just imagine how we women feel when being called demeaning names or being given stereotypical labels in here too?
Such as "why do all women lie?" and "why do all women only look at the bad boys and not the nice ones?".
Both sides male and female cop the bad end of the stick and regretfully if u dont like it then u just have to put up with it. Us women put up with the stereotypes too so just learn from it and ignore the insults. They arent worth the time of day or you losing sleep during the night.

I would never call anyone that. And i know that all men are not the same. I think the females that are calling men jerks are the teens on here. And i will apologize for them females that feel the need to be so mean. sorry My man is not a jerk..i love him to death.

well, the women who go around calling men jerks are those types who let themselves get knocked up by 'bad boys'...u see...usually these types of women keep ending up with the same type of 'jerks' over and over again. they feel bad and used on the inside because of this cycle they keep going through with the same type of men...
so wat happens...they start calling all men jerks...it masks their own inner guilt cos they know they've been used in the past and that makes them feel defective or something.
thank god i'm a virgin!! but i know plenty of females who go around calling all men jerks.
i think these women need alot of growing up to do, and admit that they're not perfect themselves for letting themselves get taken advantage of in the first place.
all u gotta do when u meet a girl who starts goin on abt how all men are jerks, is ask if she's got any proof about all guys being jerks. then she'll start spilling out about her dating/relationship disasters, and the 'jerks' she's had i her life, and u'll see that what i've said the last paragraphs are true.

We call some guys jerks, but it doesn't mean that it's directed to all. Some guys are pretty decent and know how to treat a lady, but the guys that don't that's a jerk. But that doesn't mean that we direct it to all the guys in the world. And I know you guys feelings would get hurt also, but think of us, if a guy be a jerk to us, we'll get hurt also. I mean females are pretty delicate.

I get where you are coming from... i am sure that most women just don't think about it, considering most men are very private with their feelings. also most men aren't very nice to the women in their lives, so maybe you should also post a question about men stopping what they care doing for the effect it has decent guys...

I disagree. I know a lot of good men who I am proud of, first and foremost my husband. I work with some pretty great male nurses too. I seldom run into a real man who is a jerk. It's more of the teen-aged, immature kids who are the jerks.

Not all women call all men jerks. Good generalizations there - you're defending the "all men" by stating that there are decent guys there; but in the same sentence you state "women", generalizing the entire gender. Hmmm, makes perfect sense to me.
