it's a bank holiday, and I really don't know why and don't really care since I get the day off, it is also government holiday and I don't know why, but then they can do anything they want.

I'm not sure what you mean rolled over? Because Remembrance Day is on a Saturday, most government offices and banks will be closed on Monday Nov 13.

Hours of operation depend on the province...but most stores must be closed between 9-1 unless they are an essential service
