Unfortunately a red line indicates that there is an infection in your burn that is spreading deeper into your body.
This can go one of two ways. Your body can fight it off and you will recover and heal or you will start getting sicker.
Basically I would say that so far the bacteria are winning becuase the infection is moving out of your wound and into other areas of your body. The first half of the game is going to the visitors.
If you can afford to go to the Doctor, then make an appointment for today and he/she will give you some pills and maybe a topical cream and then you will be sweet. Infections should be taken seriously.
If you can't afford to splash out on a Doctor go to the chemist and get some antibacterial cream. Clean and dry your wound with sterile materials so you don't add any more players to the bacteria team. Then apply the antibacterial cream.
Keep a very close eye on the infection over the next few hours and see if your body starts winning the competition. That is there should be less weeping from your burn and a reduction in the red line and not a worsening.
Re-apply the cream every couple of hours.
If your temperature goes above the usual or you start feeling anything other than completely normal, go immediately to the nearest medical centre and shove your toasted mitt under their noses.

See a doctor ASAP, like call your doctor or go to the ER, it does sound like it might be an infection of some kind that is in your blood. Red lines are a bad sign! Also, the burn probably needs taken care of (even if it doesn't seem "that" bad)

Not to scare you darling but it's very, very serious and yes you can die so go IMMEDIATELY to the hospital and get on IV antibiotics...don't wait for even a day as it's extremely serious. Go right now, this minute. Trust me, this happened to my sister in law!!! The red line is the poison spreading and it could already be travelling to other organs so go now. It can kill you and very quickly too. GOOOO NOOOWW...and then come back and thank me. :~)

Do move to the healthcare professional as quickly as feasible. I had this occur years in the past. I did not notice something used to be unsuitable till I had a crimson streak up my leg. The healthcare professional instructed me to take a seat down and relaxation for a few days. That day my spouse went into hard work with our first little one. Sit down and relaxation? Yeah, proper.

Could be a thing called cellulitis, which is an infection of the skin. If it is it will hurt and need urgent treatment with antibiotics, so go to the doctors.

It sounds like blood poisoning or an infection. Soak it in epson salt & warm water, while you watch tv tonight. But don't panic, it probably won't spread fast, so you will have time to take care of it.

Sounds like an alergic reaction to something in the wood, maybe a stain or sealant. Best choice would be to see a doctor, thats for sure.... :)
