Well if the mice are in your house, you probably don't want to stop her! Trust me, the mice will leave with a great mouser in the house. They're not that stupid! If your kitty goes outside, however, you should put a bell on her collar. This will help save all the birds, mice & chipmunks in the neighborhood!

Cats are natural hunters and meat eaters. There is nothing you can do. Even if your cat is not hungry, they will hunt. It is in their evolution. The only thing I can warn about, don't let them eat the mice or birds if you can help it. My old cat, ate a bird, got sick and I was told the bird carried some disease that made my cat sick. After that I watched them more closely.

It is her nature to be a hunter so there is no way to stop her. Why would you want her to stop? If she is killing the mice then she is keeping them out of your house for you.

Our neighbor cat Bucky is a great mouser. He even shares them so I will find 3 or 4 on the porch! It is natural for them to do this but not particulary healthy. They can get worms! Even a totally inside cat can be a great mouser so you may need to get rid of the mice to end this cycle. Best of luck to you and the hunter!

She is a cat! Are the mice pets too? If so, keep them locked up. If they are not pets are you aware of just how destructive they can be? And that they can carry diseases? Your cat is doing you a favour!

That's what they do, I think it is the way the mice move and it is beyond their temptation level. If it moves fast and looks like a game then they can't help themselves.
