Is it normal to be a sophomore in (10th grade) and to have never had a boyfriend? I live in a REALLY small town, so there isn't a whole lot of decent guys. This is mine and my best friend's circumstance. It's not like I try to get a boyfriend, I was just wondering if this is normal.

It's not like if someone tell me no, I'm gonna throw myself at a guy, I'm too shy for that.

You are still quite young and it's to your advantage that you are not spoilt for choice by men becuase that will give you time to complete your studies and find a boyfriend in natural time. Do not go on line looking for them as these are fraught with too many complications and hidden dangers and it is far better to meet someone naturally so you can get to know them in a natural setting.
Perhaps when you get some free time, try and visit the nest town nearest to you and take a day trip out with some friends? - there are sure to be guys there is not in your local town. But it is normal to not have a boyfriend at your age or at any age until you want one and are ready for one.
Most come along whilst your not looking so don't be suprised if suddenly you are met with a handsome stranger when you least expect it! - it usually happens this way for many of us.

Yes it is completely normal to be a sophomore in high school and not have a boyfriend. I am a Junior and I don't have a girlfriend yet! Anyway stay away from high school boys they are trouble, wait until you get to college to get into some sort of an intimate relationship.

I grew up in a small town as well. I was a senior before I had a b/f. I moved to the city and my friends here talk about having relationships as far back as elementary school. I think its just a small town thing. I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually it's pretty awesome your fortunate to be in a small town. It gives you time to grow without the male factor.
