Better yet go to videohelp.com and look up tutorials on there. There are tons of them.. Or purchase/pirate a copy of 'WinAVI Video Converter", its quite the gem for quick and easy conversions.

try to convert it with windows movie maker, open the file and export it with the extension you like.
or download a program to do it for you, you can find it on "ares"
