Tell him you lost your bracelet or ring out on the dance floor and lead him out there to ask him to help look for it. That is a good way to trick him.

Have someone slip a note into his lunchbox
Have something pop out of his locker
Request it on the radio
Put a big poster up in front of the school
Ask if it can be put into the announcements or said on the intercom
Just go up and ask him
