In my opinion it's more than a religion, it's a way of life: what to eat, what to wear, how to pray, how to act when and where, etc. Its Holy Book gives its followers lot of rules. If they like that, it's fine with me.

Some of them interpret the text of their Holy Book literally, the same thing applies to other people in other religions. In that sense they are not different.

However I don't like that religions claim things they cannot guarantee. It sounds haughty.

Not from what I have heard from major media, however as with other religions, there are those who are extreme with it (yes, even with the Christian faith, aka bombing abortion clinics) and there are those who are mellow with it. I don't think one person should ever be judged by a group, nor do I believe that the label can be spread across a religion just because some take it so far.

I denounce Islam of having any truth, but I don't think all its adherents are terrorists.

Yes it is started int the Holy land in Jerusalem peacefully at the 630 AD without blood shed and then they build the Dom of the rock although the position was different in Arabia as it was more into violence, and unlike the crusade when they turn the holy land into land of blood and latter the Zionist(Israel) when the make holy land a war zone.

From what one Muslim girl wrote me the other day and told me about herfaith I don't think so . I never thought I would say that but her description she wrote to me was merciless. I hope I don't become prejudice. I just need to see some proof of a few peaceful ones. God forgive my offences.

The common thread of most major religions today, including Judaism, Christianity and Islam, is the message of Peace and Love... yet their respective adherents prefer to be dissuaded otherwise.

Hence, all the conflicts, wars and rumors of wars... as it is written.

Peace be with you.

Stop generalizing, man. You're just as bad as those condemning christianity because of what some guy did centuries ago. "Do to others what you'd like to be done unto yourself", well would you like christianity to get called evil, warmongering, etc. ? Let's all calm down and smoke weed.

Be enduring in peace, cause that's what peace needs, endurance.

To find out about Islam you have to investigate yourself. Not ask others to make up your mind. Personal and independent investigation on truth.
