Scotch, scotch and more scotch! Macallan is my favorite but I really like bourbon too. Nothing is better than a Jack and Coke!!! You have good taste!

Try Red Breast Irish Whiskey. Reeeeeally good. Also, Tullamore Dew is a blended Irish whiskey. Super smooth.

If you like bourbon, then you should try the line of small bourbons from Jim Beam.

Bookers ( 121 + proof )
Bakers ( 107 proof )
Knob Creek ( 100 proof )
Basil Hayden ( 80 proof )

I served Bookers at my wedding reception, quite a few folks enjoyed it, I can't recall if I even got a sip. My favorite though is Knob Creek.

I'm a rum fan myself, and pretty partial to Sailor Jerry. If you like whiskey, you should try this german whiskey that is made from honey (they used to make it to get the bears drunk so they would be easier to hunt). I don't know how to spell it, but it is something like brunjeager.

James beam for nostalgic reasons.
Lagavlin 16 yr scotch now. Tastes like how campfire smoke would if you could condense it and enjoy it in a drinking vessel.
