I would love to see pics of your dog with fully pricked ears! I'l bet it is really cute..Nope, I've never seen one that was purebred with sich ears...lol
I guess it would be possible, as they often have 'rose' ears, and greyhounds sometimes turn out with pricked ears..

I'm not sure if it's common but I was reading the breed standards for staffies today and fully pricked ears are considered a flaw.
My APBT has an extra tooth in the front...

I'm not sure what you mean by fully pricked. Do you mean cut down close to the head? Ears are cropped in some breeds (nasty as the thought is to me) so that the ears will stand erect... however... if the ears are cropped close to the head... in a staffy especially... it was probably intended to be a fighting dog. Some areas of the US (and other countries I'm sure) have a HUGE dog-fighting problem. It's illegal, but there's a huge underground market for it. By cropping their ears close... they are less likely to be injured (ears bleed profusely when torn) in a dog fight.
I'm not implying that your dog has the temperament to be a fighter... just that that's probably what someone intended him to be when they cut the ears. There's a lot of great staffs out there... it's sad the reputation they've been given due to all the irresponsible owners out there.

Presumably you mean docked or cropped ears? It's not an acceptable practice in this country, and no vet with any integrity would do such a thing. The same goes for docking certail dogs' tails. Vets are not having any of it.
