My boyfriend and I just received an invite to an exlusive company party where the theme is hillbilly. Does anyone have suggestions as to what we could wear? Nothing too stupid, though....

For you: Wear cutoff jean shorts (not too short since it's a company thing) with a plaid shirt, tails tied at your waist a-la Daisy Duke or Ellie Mae Clampett. A floppy straw hat, a rope belt, put your hair in pigtails or braids with bows at the ends if you can. Draw freckles on your cheeks. Go barefoot ideally. Or just wear some brown cowboy boots or combat type boots.
For him: Denim overalls, one strap hooked only. Plaid/flannel shirt or sleeveless T-shirt. Black out one tooth. Messy hair and/or beat-up ballcap. Carry a ceramic jug with 'XXX' on the side (moonshine). Cowboy or combat type boots.
Have a hoot 'n' a holler at the big doin's! :o)

Overalls or jeans and flannel shirts should do it. Maybe find a piece of hay to chew on. A straw hat would be a good accessory.
