Unless you have a friend of yours ask him straight out, or unless you do you can never be sure. So dont get your hopes up. Just friendly flirt with him. Make it fun. And you will find out soon enough without getting hurt. Just you know tell him you like the way he dresses, its cute. Or tell him he has a cute smile or something. And he will get the hint that you prolly like him. And if eh does then maybe he will try something. But some guys are so shy they need to have some knowing that you like them, otherwise theyll just keep it pent inside, and maybe eventually just forget it. Or get so frusrated at theirself theyll just go for it.. =P
