There are nose plasters, herbal "remedies" (cant vouch for them personally as I dont snore....I just breath heavily!). Try not to sleep on your back, the old wives remedy for that is to sew a potato in your pajama trousers!
The site below may be of more help than I have been ...:D

You mentioned that you do not have sleep apnea but unless you have been specifcally tested for it there is no way to know for sure if you do or don't have it. There are tons of devices on the market and lots of pills offered that promise to help stop snoring. Do a search for how to stop snoring and check some of these out. I have no idea which ones work and which ones don't. If have been checked out for sleep apnea great but if you haven't that is something that needs to be done.

Use a humidifier. Moist air is easier to breathe.
Keep your bedroom as free from dust as possible.
Use a pillow with higher support for your neck than your head to keep the air passages open.
Sleep on your side - not your back. Never sleep on your stomach - it can lead to a lot of health problems.
Keep hydrated to keep mucus thin.
Breath-rite stips help if your nasal passages are narrow. You apply the adhesive stip across you mid-lower nose. It helps keep your nostrils open.
Don't drink alcohol in the evening.
