don't have a lot of relationship experience. is there a specific feeling or do you just know................? i'm at a loss

When it's "the one" you will know it, there won't be any doubt about it! There aren't any signs other than the way you feel with this person. Your head and heart will be working together and both will be clear! If there is any doubt then your intuition is hard at work and trust that! When it's the one it suddenly becomes so clear....Sure there is extreme liking, love and lust and friendship and all of these different feelings are so easily confused or mistaken but when it's the one something just clicks and you know deep down inside that it's right! You can search for the one but I believe in fate and when it's ment to be somehow "the one" will find you!

I think you'll know in time. You can't know right away because you need to spend time with the person you think you might love - to find out how much you have in common, how you get along in difficult situations, how he or she reacts when certain things happen (like you getting sick or dealing with difficult family issues - sometimes situations bring out the worst in someone and you find out you could never make it together). Someone wrote a book, I can't remember the name, sorry, but it shouldn't be too hard to find...I saw a doctor on Oprah talking about it...and apparently there's a list of questions in it that you should ask each other before you consider a committed relationship. Just having feelings for each other isn't enough - there are too many practical issues to address before you can make a success of a long term relationship.

You just know. There is no way to describe it. I wish I could. It would make so much easier if there was some specific way to tell, or describe it. There isn't. I knew my husband was the one from our first kiss. And I still know that 100% of the time. I just KNOW it in my heart, mind, and soul. I couldnt' say that with my first hubby....I did what I thought I was supposed to do at that time in my life...adn boy, what a mistake.

One what? - true love,eternal soulmate?. You could fall madly in love tomorrow with somebody who you think will never be bettered-then they start picking their nose,being cruel to animals and criticising your dress sense, at which point a weak female will just put up with it and say "oh,but he had a troubled childhood" etc. Start gaining experience and if that special one is meant to be you will find them, or just do what most people do and marry the first person who proposes, then divorce a few years later.Good luck.

When you can't imagine yourself with anyone else and there is nothing you would rather do than to make that person happy. You get along great and there is understanding between the both of you. Jealousy is absent and only the feeling of wanting to be close to that person fills that space.

if u have the same interests, if u feel u can talk to that person about everything and knowing it will stay between u two if u just feel he is ur best friend and u cant stand one minute without him if u feel one day without him is worthless then u know u found the one

There is an instant connection that transcends all others. If they are "the one", a depth exists in the relationship that there is just NOTHING to compare to. Its like they've always been in your life and you in theirs.

i don't think there is "the one".
it maybe feel like is the one ,but in a few days month's or years it will not feel like that anymore.
if you fell love for someone, love him back , live and learn that love.
because is that love and that felling that is going to be the most similar of "that's the one".

Compare the feeling you have for him to the feelings that you have had for your previous crushes. Then, you just know when it's different.

I think you just know - i got my dog from the pound and when i first saw him i knew he was the one - i call him petty- he is kind of small
