I'm just looking for some opinions on how people think this fight would go when and if they fight. I'll wait to see some answers before i give my opinion and see if anyone agrees with mine. Be honest cause i know a lot of folks on here don't like Floyd and just want to see him lose, but be objective.

Margarito is a tough tough son of beotch. He doesn't have the same technique as Castillo but he hits harder and is physically much stronger. Margarito is definitely a better class fighter than Baldomir. The strength, ability to go to the body and the chin of Margarito will give him the ability to get after Floyd.

Floyd will have a huge speed advantage. The speed will help Floyd frustrate Margarito.
It will be a classic bull vs. matador. I expect Margarito would have alot of good moments in the fight but not enough. I don't think he could beat Floyd.

Cool Breeze ~
I recently went back into my collection and watched several hours of tape that I have on Margarito. He definitely has heavier hands than Floyd and I've been writing all along that Margarito would land the only punch that would effect Floyd enough to hurt him, the left hook to the liver, but after watching the tapes I came to the conclusion that this won't happen.
Floyd fights a very tricky style, he tucks his head into his left shoulder, shifts most of weight to his back foot and turns his body to the right so it's practically impossible to hit him with a clean head shot. This is why he's custom made for a left hook to the body, pretty much the same way his Uncle Roger was taken apart by Julio Cesar Chavez.
Margarito hits very hard but he really doesn't throw /turn his whole body into his left hook, he throws basically a arm punch. Julio Cesar Chavez had the best hook I have ever saw in a bout, he was always putting his whole body behind this punch and was always on balance after he threw it so he could come back with either another hook or a straight right hand, Maragarito tends to leave himself off balance and out of place to land a effective punch.
Margarito is indeed the much harder puncher of the two and he is the bigger man that will press this fight but Floyd's speed will be just a bit much for him. This fight would be very much like the Baldomir fight except Margarito would be trying to knock out Floyd in every round.
Floyd wins the decision. Floyd's really not going to be at risk in any fight this is why he can't be considered Great until he fights a fighter that he shouldn't beat, that's bigger than him, that has a chance to knock him out, that the experts even say "Floyd can't win!" That fighter is Jermaine Taylor. Think about it Cool Breeze.

The fight won't happen. If it did Floyd would win it. Very similar to the Castillo fights.

Mayweather embarrases Margarito, same as he's done to everyone else.
