Juice with rum IS gross. Rum and coke is a better combo. Stay away from whiskey. Vodka and cranberry with Red Bull is my favorite.

Pick up some Bacardi Rum Runner mix, its in the freezer section of the store next to the frozen OJ.

Unless you want a MAJOR hangover...AVOID THIS COMBO! Too much sugar in both. Rum is loaded with sugar as well as OJ. I know you aked about whiskey, but can you manage Scotch on the rocks? Or Vodka on the rocks, or with club? You will not get a hangover because nos sugar in any of these.

No, rum goes great with all fruit juice. Try mixing it with a combo fruit juice, like pineapple-orange-banana.

That sounds horrible. But really, I'm sure it's quite tasty... Generally fruit plus milk equals curdlage and that just grosses me out... Try this: Take a can of orange juice concentrate, and empty about half of it into a blender. Put in a bunch of ice and milk (I can't tell you the proportions, you really gotta just eyeball it.) and bland that sucker up. It's kind of like a creamsickle slushie but about forty-three times better.

Rum goes with anything. That's why so many Bahamian drinks are fruit juice & rum.

depends if you're using dark, light or spiced rum. Dark will look a horrible brown, but be okay, spiced will be overpowered by the orange juice, and the light will be quite refreshing...
I say just go ahead and try it!

vodka and OJ is good. rum and cola is good. rum and OJ would be kinda gross I think. Rum is too sweet. squeeze a little lime in your rum and coke too. Its good.

Not really I drink that alot you should try rum in some peach Margarita it's the BOMB.
