I just purcased an Olympus E 500 and LOVE IT! but, There is not a very wide variety in lenses and other accessories. Are there any other lenses that fit it besides the Zuiko lenses? and What other products can I use with it?

B&H had 19 lenses listed. There is also an adapter that you can use to mount older manual focus lenses on the E-Series cameras. You have to shoot in stop down mode, but results can be very good. Its difficult to manually focus with the E-500 due to the small viewfinder, but it can be done. Olympus markets an overpriced viewfinder magnifier that some people have liked others hated. If you mount older lenses on E-Series cameras you'll also run into the 2X crop factor. A 24mm lens now has the field of view of a 48mm lens. But if you're into telephoto lenses it's acceptable.
I use my old vivitar 285HV flash with mine and it works well in auto mode, sure beats what Olympus wants for theirs! Just be careful of some of the older manual flashes due to shoe voltage.
I've also used my Tamron 90mm macro lens and had great results with it. The Zuiko 50mm 3.5 macro is also very good.

to this point purely Olympus lenses made for the EVOLT line of cameras will artwork. perhaps at some time because the Olympus marketplace grows, different third party lens makers will commence generating lenses with EVOLT lens mounts. 2 which are available in now are: Zuiko digital ED 14 - 40 2 mm f3.5 - f5.6 Lens - (equivalent to 28mm - 84mm in 35mm images) and the Zuiko digital ED 40-150mm f4.0.5.6 Lens - (80-300mm equivalent). I have proper you to three different internet sites you may want to locate effective. My question is this; Why did you pick that digital camera? Nikon and Canon are likely both cameras which have the most lenses accessible, new, used and third party of any contained in the international.
