Being he who likee cleanee clothee, I tend to spend a bit of time in laundromats. Whatever..rag on the guy who owns no washer. It seems that I meet the nicest people there. Usually I initiate the conversation. But I tnd to pick up on things...moods....emotions......Kinda like a bartender pouring Wisk or Downy.

I agree. People are in a relaxed state at the laundromat. They are themsleves. No pressure to perform or try to have intelligent converstion while folding underwear. Just natural people. So pour me a Wisk straight up.

I own a washer and dryer, so I usually wash clothes at home. I do go to the laundromat on occassion, though, to wash stuff like bedding that might be too big a load for my washer. In my experience, the only people that are ever in the laundromat are creepy middle aged guys trying to talk to me about fabric softener or sports...

.....no offense...

LOL...I've done the laundromat thing too. It's not a good place to pick up women though--there's like 20 guys there, ready to descend on any women that walks in the door. Maybe if the girl-guy ratio was better.
