I say NO. It's not worth it because chances are he will only end up back in jail eventually. I know, I've been there and learned my lesson. Think about your son and how it might affect him. I know that people can chage their lives around if they want to, but they have to prove it first. You don't need the extra drama when you're trying to raise a child alone. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to talk.

There is so much that I don't know to give you a totally honest answer. Do you love him? Why is he in jail? Is this the kind of person you want to help you raise your son? You need to ask yourself some heavy and serious questions and then be honest with yourself and with him.

Why would you?!! What kind of example are you setting for your son? Women are better than that. God created us as noble creatures and we screw it up by dating jail birds and letting guys smack us around and such. You deserve a man that will treat you like the goddess that you are. Don't stoop below what you are!! Make him come up to your level every time!!!

Instead of thinking that you are dating him...and if you two are so close why doesn't he have a clue how long his sentence is...why not devote the time away from him to improving your command of the English language.

Sure...it's obvious you two have a match made in heaven. Or Alcatraz anyway!
Good luck and invite me to your wedding when he makes parole in 2014.

that is completely up to you. i dated a guy once that went to prison for 18 months. it was hard and i wanted to stick around, but he told me not to. thank god i didn't because all his side girls decided to stick around. it's hard. it's a lot of lonely nights, letter writing, and visitations through glass.
