This is not a silly question.

I lived in Boston, from 1992-1996, back then if you asked anyone that question, people would have said Dunkin Donuts.

At the time, the Star Bucks in the University where I studied was struggling.

It has a lot to do with the branding. People perceive Star bucks as gourmet.

I am willing to be bet that if you served Star Bucks coffee in a Dunkin Donuts cup, half of these people who rave about star bucks coffee would not drink it.

Similar studies to what I am talking about above were done on a brand of Whiskey, which was suffering because it's package did not look so good despite the fact that it had the stronger brand and customer's preferred it in blind tests. After they redesigned that package, they picked up Market share.

Well if you are in a hurry Dunkin Donuts is definitely the correct choice but if you want to get something fancy and want a lot of options Starbucks is far superior. If you want banana nut bread with your coffee go to Bob Evans :o)

Starbucks = catpiss.

How can anyone stand drinking that over-brewed, over-priced stale crap? Other than its being a status thing? Obviously, people don't know what real coffee is supposed to taste like.

Can't say about the donut place, as I've never been in one.

i comprehend this could make distinctive Starbuck's officianados agitated, yet right this is the deal. espresso experts (actual ones, not in basic terms the as quickly as an afternoon latte drinkers) all agree that Starbucks beans are overcooked to the component to being burnt. people mistake that style for physically powerful. this is not. this is burnt. quite, the numerous appropriate espresso in the U. S. is stumbled on at Dunkin Donuts, even with the undeniable fact that this is not as "cool" as Starbucks. style them area by ability of area sooner or later. you will see.
