Yes, you're a joke. But sometimes guys just can't avoid being a joke over a pretty girl, once in awhile. Happens to all guys. You'll get over it. Find another girl, and forget this ever happened.

first of all dont worry about the stuff that happens in high school because when its over, its TRULY OVER and your REAL LIFE begins. trust me, im in my 20's and out of college but have only kept in touch with one high school friend. the rest i can barely remember. i'm sure you've heard the story of the geek in highschool that got rich and married a model, or the popular jock that got fat and become unemployed with 8 kids and 5 baby mommas...well trust me IT HAPPENS.
anyway, in your situation you probably waited too long to talk to her. obviously she tried to get your attention and instead you let a WHOLE semester go by without taking advantage. it seems like she probably found someone else that she thinks is better than you, especially since she already gave you a chance and now she's no longer interested. now that she knows she can be with a better guy why would she go back to you...who wants gold when they can have platinum.
sorry to say but the only way you might get another chance is to show her your worth...and not necessarily in monetary terms. give her something to be interested in about you such as your talents. do you play sports, write poetry, draw art work, sing, play an instrument, do volunteer work, act in school plays, have a website, or are you a member of a school organization? if so, find ways to show her those things and/or involve her by inviting her to an event your in or asking if she'll be there if it's school sponsored. better yet, involve yourself in things that she likes. if she's a cheerleader, then go to the games or hang around after her practices. basically find ways to be noticed but make sure to always give her space so you dont seem like a stalker or become annoying. and you dont always have to talk, sometimes just being seen is enough to keep you in her mind until next time.
on the other hand, sometimes girls like it when you play hard to get by ignoring her or even getting a girlfriend of your own. knowing that you've moved on when she had a chance might make her want you back. however, this is more based on jealousy than real feelings/emotions and usually ends once the chase is over and she's got you.
if that doesnt work, give up, let her go, and find someone else more deserving. consider it just another lesson learned in the world of dating. good luck!

Sounds like she's playing around with you. Well, maybe you're too obvious about it. Slip her a playful note and see if she likes it, some do. You can also try other ways rather than kept on insisting getting her number. She'll like your creativity if you find ways to court her. Don't just set your mind on the goal(the number, talking to her). For women the process of courtship is more important than the result.

Give up on her! Respect yourself and find a girl who will respect you and you won't have to worry about her and her friends making fun of you. My guess about this particular girl is that she may have been attracted to you in some way, but her friends didn't approve for whatever reason and she was easily swayed. You don't want a girl anyway who doesn't make her own decisions.

I honestly think you are way too young and immature to be dating. You didn't have the guts to ask her out. You need to take a few years and grow up a bit then try the dating thing again.

Just ignore her back man. Its highschool. I know you can't see it now, but in one year it won't matter. You will be in college or working a job and she will probably be at another school or in a trailer park somewhere. Just ignore the stares.

I think both girls and guys are stupid at that age. Sorry...but there's not much you can do except try to find a more mature girl to ask out.

I dont think your a joke. sometimes girls just like to play around with guys. its not fair but we do it. I think that she just wants to play hard to get. Just remember though that if she keeps hurting you and putting you down dont even worry about her. thats just my opinion but i could be wrong.
