I don't think you love him, but that's just me being in my 20s and figuring that you're probably around 12 or 13 years old.
Two things to ponder: has there ever been anything in your life that you wanted and you didn't get? Do you still feel empty inside becuase you didn't get that thing? Probably not.
Second: How far away do you live from this prospective love interest?
If you don't "date" him, you'll get over it eventually.

Dating him behind your parents back when they have told you not yet is not a good idea. Your cousin is giving you bad advice. After your parents find out and they distrust you will you feel good about having dated him. Apply some of that church youth group learning.

i had the same problem, well, sort of lol i had never had a boyfriend, and then i met this guy who i really liked, and he liked me back! we hung out all the time and he was really sweet and really nice, (and hott) lol but the problem my parent's didn't want us to date because he was a freshman in college and i was a sophomore in high school. people told me we should date behind my parent's back anyways, but i didn't because i figured they'd find out and i'd get in even bigger trouble. so i worked on them for two months and finally they let me. i just had to prove to them that i was responsible enough. talk to your parents, they'll appreciate you more for it. plus, what happens if they do find out you've been dating secretly? then you'll be in even bigger trouble, and then you really won't be allowed to date him. good luck!

It really depends on your age. If you are over 13 I say it is okay to talk to him, but be sure to let him know how your father feels. If he still wants 2 talk u, go 4 it!!! And later try to talk to your dad again, w/out throwing a fit over his rules. Let him know u r jus friends and want to hang out!

WELL IF YOU DO THE RIGHT THING TRY TO BE RESPONSIBLE BE FOR YOU HAVE A BOY FRIEND AND MA BY YOUR DAD WILL UNDERSTAND IF NOT JUST TELL THE BOY TO WAIT A WHILE AND JUST EXPLAIN TO YOUR DAD WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND MAY BE HE WILL UNDERSTAND?!!

i don't mean to be a prude...but the fact that you just said you love him shows that ur not ready to date "date". maybe you should try the whole casual boyfriend thing.

it would be helpful to know your age, but i'd say under 16, forget it....16 or older, go for it
