Well, as the other person said you give the greeting of the day, and salute if it is an officer. Not giving the greeting is considered a big no-no in most situations.
Some units or groups have specific greetings, for example On Fort Bragg the enlisted say "Airborne" and the officer returns with "All the way!" When I was in second infantry division, the greeting was "warriors" or something like that. Other units have their own greetings. Also, in the Army they used to say "Hooah" alot, although it seemed to get less popular right before I got out.
If you mean more formally, most bases have a protocol section, so if a VIP shows up they give him or her the full ceremonial greeting, with an honor guard and what not.
If you mean less formally, just joe to joe or NCO to NCO, it's usually hi, how ya doin?

I'm trying to figure out what you're asking. Being a veteran of the Viet Nam war we didn't have any one special greeeting except the one sent by Uncle sam when we were drafted. If I knew your question I'd give you an answer.

Depends on rank difference very often a salute. Otherwise the same as anyone else, Hello, handshake etc the one difference is they (we) tend to use each other's last names.
If you are talking introductions the person of lower rank is introduced to the person of higher rank
