never heard of a root BEAR float.. but root beer you take vanilla ice cream and root beer and add that to a mug... top with whipped cream and serve.

A large mug, 2 or 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream or root beer float ice cream, a few drops of vanilla extract, whipped cream, and a cherry. Or you are saying root bear and trying to be funny. in that case i don't know.

If you put in a scoop or two of ice cream and root beer, its a root beer float, if you make it as thick as you can its a root beer freeze

If you have a blender. it doesn't matter but it tastes better. as much vanilla ice cream as you want and enough root beer to your taste. blend and there you are..
